OneCowgirl bought herself a "tome fromme" lens for Christmas. It zooms from about 18mm to 135mm. It is nice not to have to change lenses but this one just isn't sharp enough for me. As for this photo, I have since learned this cowboy hates to have his picture taken! The photog in me wants to run over and finish buttoning his vest and re-take the photo! Your thoughts?

Ohhh...I'm envious of your new lens! I like the picture, its real, not posed. He doesn't like his photograph taken, but you got one, of him being him, yes? These, to me, are the best kind! LOVE your images!

The picture is perfect because it wasn't posed for. I like those much better. Your new lens takes good pictures, must be a really nice camera.
Naw- the picture is great- the unbuttoned vest keeps it firmly in the unposed category.
I love the vest half unbuttoned. But I know how it is to be so critical of your own pictures. I say give the lens some time to grow on ya.
I want a new lens myself but am thinking of renting it for a couple weeks just to make sure I'll like it.
