I really like this photo but there is no detail in the moon. Now, if I learned photoshop - (first I have to buy the software) then I would put some detail in the moon! There are advantages to getting up early - think of what I would miss.

Photoshop or no, that's a beautiful image.
Instead of Photoshop, you could use the comparable and FREE "GIMP for Windows".
Google "photoshop substitute free"; you will get several reviews and recommendations for GIMP. If you have broadband (i.e. not dial-up) here is a GIMP for Windows Video.

I do like this photo very much. yes, maybe the moon could use some detail but there's something to be said for untouched photography. It's just as you saw it that morning and nothing can change that in your eyes.
Try using your photo as your desktop: it really brings the sky out!
