I know pigs can be so smart. When I was young my friend had a boar hog that he let people use to breed there sows. When someone needed h the pig my friend would back up a trailer and say lets go to work and the pig would hurry in knowing what his work was going to be.
When I was a kid in 4-H. The community leader used to keep some of the kids critters at their place and one year there was a pig that would herd their sheep. We figured she picked it up from the Border Collies. It's always amazing!
Glad you are back... Great story... I knew someone with a pig that they couldn't keep out of their house, she'd open the door, go in, open the fridge, lay on the couch all but read the paper and use the toilet.
That is the craziest thing I have seen!lol! I love it! We have friends that had a little pig, it thought it was a dog too. So funny to watch the dogs, with a little pig following. I am glad to see you back on your page too. I would have joined in the search!
Ashton, someone ought to enter this in a contest. Even something as crazy as America's Funniest Home Videos can get you $10,000. When we moved back from Germany, I wanted to join the 4-H and called them one summer, but I couldn't join because we lived in the city and not out in Clemmons. Don't I feel cheated. I told Gail Taylor about your blog tonight.
Kathryn, living in town didn't stop my kids from being in 4-H... we worked with small animals, rabbits, pygmy goats... and lots of cooking and sewing projects and of course shooting sports.

Pigs are just so smart. It's amazing what they can pick up.
