LOL, Joni, you are so so right about some cowboys not being too original. The rancher named his Jack Russell - Jack. And a hog he got from his friend Keith - Keith and he names his vehicles the same name as the person he bought them from too. That practice is so hysterical to my daughter and I!
With that thought in mind, I'd say the horse's name is "Silver".

I am guessing the name is Grey (sometimes cowboys aren't that original!) but hoosier homemaker seems so sure of her answer!
