Did I tell you I love wide open spaces? There is something very comforting to me being able to look out and see forever! I actually get a bit very claustrophobic when I leave the Southwest - like driving on the East Coast in the summertime the trees begin closing in on me!

Great pic! Just beautiful! I agree the wide open spaces is awesome! I grew up a city girl and have been in the country for about 10 years now and sometimes I have to go back to Dallas and it drives me crazy! Everyone is so close and the traffic!
Goodness, I couldn't agree more! Being in central Oregon this past weekend really made me crave the open space. It was so nice to see nothing but land, sky, and far, far away, mountains. Sometimes I feel like I live in the jungle here!!

LOL I have a hard time going to the local mega-mart to get groceries. Consequently, I shop at the buttcrack of dawn to AVOID people and crowds....;)
I do like the trees out here. Can see what you mean--- downtown Savannah has SOOOO many trees, that it feels ... surreal, at times. I love to go there though! (Just in the "off" season, when there are not many tourists...lol)
I like to go to the city once in a while but after two days I'm more than ready to come back home. I'm not sure how I survived the city all the years I lived there.
Me too. But it took awhile in my life to appreciate it.
Living in Alabama was interesting-I wasn't used to so many trees and for a while it was cool. Got tired of never knowing what direction was what because you never saw a sunset though.
Loved the city when I lived in AZ-except for the people and the traffic-LOL.
Nowdays and hour or so in a Wal-Mart makes me clausterphobic.
I crave the open spaces, but I do love the trees too. Thanks for sharing your open spaces. I come here for my fix sometimes!
